first off, those crappy photos were taken with my iPhone 3GS (yes, the old one), and i apologize for the quality. anyway, i think i'm finally starting to understand how warm and cool tones work together in an oil painting. it has been an awesome term, and i've learned so much from this class. enjoy!

a nice little update.
something i've been working on - a wood shader/texture for the BYU next student film, "Chasm"
this is an OLD drawing, the one i did at the MTC because i was bored... yp, and i spruced it up and it's on www.shopdenik.com/gallery - please go and vote for my design so it can get printed on sketchbooks!
tradd moore - an excellent artist
some mike yamada-esque drawings
another one... can't get enough of this guy.
saw it online, had to draw it.
and of course, a pony. who doesn't like ponies?
john timms - an excellent find! superb artist.
timms again.
skottie young... his sketches are crazy.
so, lately i've been emulating a lot of different artists, and i've ended up loving skottie young, john timms, mike yamada, mike mignola, and several others who i can't really think of at the moment. look them up, and i promise you'll find their work promising.
