this was for a sketch blog challenge, and we had to draw a theme this week - "there's a monster in my closet".  i think i had a different idea in mind, but yeah, i think i nailed it.

some fun with exaggeration!

so this is where the fun really begins in ryan's class when he encourages us to exaggerate!  a lot of other students in the class did some crazy awesome stuff, but here's some of my favorites.  i need practice with fantasy stuff and all that, time to draw elves, LOTR, marvel and DC comics.

a peek into my... life as an animator.

so, this is basically what i've been up to lately.  ryan's class is amazing... i love gesture drawing, and the video is what i'm doing in seth's visual FX class.  i'm making a thermite reaction explosion, so that'll take some fine-tuning before it looks awesome.
